Dana Hayek is a filmmaker and visual storyteller passionate about exploring the many ways stories can be told, whether through fictional films, documentary projects, or creative visual experiments. She graduated from Northwestern University in Qatar with a degree in Communications and a minor in Film and Design.  

Her work ranges from narrative films to projects incorporating interviews and archival material, always aiming to connect people through culture, identity, and shared experiences. Beyond filmmaking, Dana is also an athlete. She played basketball with Northwestern’s Women’s Team for four years and currently plays football with PSG Women’s Team in Qatar. At the heart of her journey, whether on the field or behind the camera, is a love for storytelling and the communities it builds.
